Britney Spears is a born musician, actor and entertainer. Over the last decade, she has managed to cut herself a niche in the entertainment arena gradually rising to one of the most popular performing artists of this generation. Born in Mississippi USA in 1981, Britney Spears showed signs of stardom early in life.
Even before she became teenager she had featured in a number of productions and popular TV shows. She won the hearts of fans around the world for her courage on stage and natural talent which was evident from the start. Although Britney Spears was already a sensation all over USA as a teenager, she burst into the international limelight around 1999 when she unleashed her first recorded album which was titled Baby One More Time. This smash album propelled the young beauty into celebrity status as she became a household name and an instant pop, fashion and cultural idol among the youth.
Britney Spears: The Mother
Despite being a global star, Britney spears wears a totally different hat when she gets home. She is a model mother to her two sons Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline. The singer who has sometimes been compared to legends like Madonna and Whitney Houston has not let her stardom overshadow her motherly roles to her sons. Despite some tumultuous patches in her glorious celebrity life, Britney Spears has always dusted herself up and moved on with her life, giving her sons the best in terms of attention and care. The boys are now 6 and 5 respectively.
In 2010 Britney Spears was announced as the most popular figure on the social blog Twitter with over 5 million followers. Statistics say her annual earnings are much higher than renowned divas Lady Gaga and Madonna. She is in the same rating with Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce Knowles.
